As he tends to do, Cristiano Ronaldo dragged Real Madrid through to the semifinals of the Champions League with a Herculean display against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the quarters.
Having gone behind twice on the night, Ronaldo rallied to score a hat trick at the Bernabeu as Real went on to secure a comprehensive 6-3 aggregate victory.
It's little wonder that the man was greeted like a returning hero when he eventually made his way back to the dressing room after the match.
